ULSTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- More than twenty young people were arrested for trespassing, after Ulster County Sheriff's deputies say they were swimming at a popular swimming hole in Kingston.
Officials say the spot off First Avenue is not open to public swimming, and the people were arrested for being there without permission. Those arrested range in age from 16 to 26-years-old. The first eight were charged on Monday, then six more on Tuesday, and a third group on Wednesday.
They were all given appearance tickets.
