TROY, N.Y. -- Troy police are investigating a stabbing in the city. It happened around 8:30 p.m. on the 400 block of 8th Avenue.

Officers found a man with several stab wounds. He was taken to Albany Medical Center with serious injuries.

Police have identified a suspect, but that person is not yet in custody.
