NEW YORK STATE -- A 26-year-old Oswego woman was arrested in East Greenbush after police say she violated Leandra’s Law.
Police say Myranda Rai Turner was weaving in traffic when she was pulled over. Tuner had her two children, ages two and four, in the car and police say neither were in child safety seats.
Police say Turner failed sobriety tests and was charged with driving while intoxicated, two counts of aggravated DWI and driving with improperly restrained child passengers and driving while intoxicated with child passengers.
County Child Protective Services took custody of Turner’s children. They have been placed in temporary housed facility.
