SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- GlobalFoundries Company officials are meeting with Saratoga County leaders Wednesday for an informal information session. The Fab-8 project is building the most advanced semiconductor fabrication plant in the world.

They want to shed some light on what that exactly means, and break away from being what they call "the factory in the woods."

Wednesday, officials are walking area leaders through the steps of making a semiconductor and how they work.
