NEW YORK STATE -- A Glens Falls Boy stays perfect to win free throw glory.

Joseph Girard, 10, is New York's 10-year-old free throw champion. And now, he's the Elk's Hoop Shoot champion of the Northeast Central Region.

He competed this weekend against the New Jersey and Pennsylvania state champions. Girard made 25 of 25 free throws, tying with the boy from Pennsylvania. He then stayed perfect, making five of five in a shoot out to win.

Girard now goes on to the National Competition at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield Massachusetts on April 28th, against 11 other Regional Champions! We wish him good luck!
