RENSSELAER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Congratulations are in order for The Hoosic Valley girls’ basketball team.

They're now state champions with a very close win of 43-42 in the Class C state championship over Randolph.

And that's the only state win for the Capital Region this year.

The Argyle girls made it to the Class D state finals, but lost 48-34 to Elba.
