SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- An early morning fire in Schenectady causes heavy damage to a building that houses a restaurant and several apartments.

The call came in just after 5 a.m. Saturday, and firefighters arrived to find smoke pouring out of the windows.

They said while the restaurant is closed, people were living in the apartments above.
However there are no reports of any injuries.
