ALBANY, N.Y. -- Thousands are expected to participate in the annual CDPHP Workforce team challenge today.

Since the 1980's, people have clocked out of work and laced up their running shoes to take part. The 3.5 mile race is tonight at the Empire State Plaza. The race starts on Madison Avenue.

Last year, 9,200 runners from 470 companies came out for the run.

Our parent company Time Warner will have a team running today with some of our very own from YNN. You can look for them in their neon green and purple team t-shirts.

Proceeds from the race go towards the Hudson Mohawk Road Runners Club.
