LATHAM, N.Y. -- Family, friends and fans of blues legend Ernie Williams pay their respects.

A public memorial was held Sunday at The Light Of the World Christian Church on Sparrowbush Road in Latham.

Williams, who lived in Cohoes, died last week after he had a stroke followed by a heart attack.

In lieu of flowers, The Williams family requests that you send donations to the Connect Center for Youth in Cohoes.
