NISKAYUNA, N.Y. -- Niskayuna Police say at least one person is dead after a head on collision Saturday afternoon. It happened around 4 p.m. on Aqueduct Road, about a half a mile from Balltown Road.

A witness says he saw a car swerving all over the road before the accident.

"We were coming down Broadway and he was swerving all over the road. Speeding, slowing down, almost hitting telephone poles, parked cars and he went down Broadway, we went a different direction so we didn’t get stuck behind him, we came around a turn and this is what we ran into,” Ken Jamacy said.

Police are waiting to release more information about the incident until after the victim's family has been notified.
