ALBANY, N.Y. -- There is a traffic alert for anyone traveling along Interstate 90 this weekend. Two westbound lanes will be closed between exit 8 and the 787 interchange in Rensselaer, so work can continue on the Washington Avenue overpass.
The closures will be in effect from 5:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. If you need to travel through the area, officials are asking that you find an alternate route.
