SULLIVAN COUNTY, N.Y. -- A developer has withdrawn from a redevelopment project in Sullivan County.
Chancellor Livingston LLC was supposed to lead the East Broadway redevelopment project at the former Apollo Mall property. However, Sullivan County officials say Chancellor Livingston will not proceed with those plans. No reason was given for the decision.
The chairman of the Economic and Community Development Committee says they look forward to the Concord project to build a $600 million hotel resort to move forward, as well as any future plans for an East Broadway project.
The county legislature will now consider options for redevelopment in that area.
