UNITED STATES -- Although she's from Berne, she never burns a good meal. Linda Blakely, from Berne, New York, just won the "Crisco is Cooking" Award, which is part of the 45th Pillsbury Bake-off.

Blakely won with her Indonesian chicken turnovers with spicy peanut sauce recipe. She receives a $5,000 prize, along with three other finalists.

Blakely says the recipe is a long time favorite.

"It is actually a curry recipe I have been making for years to use at left over Thanksgiving turkey. I decided if I changed it to chicken and put it in croissant rolls and peanut sauce, I would be using about six ingredients and coming up with something original," Blakely said.

The grand prize winner from Devon, Pennsylvania walked away with a million dollars for a pumpkin ravioli dish.
