ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany Medical Center is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who planted mercury in the hospital's cafeteria earlier this month.
Surveillance video of the person wanted for questioning was released after a hospital employee found some mercury on her cafeteria tray on March 2.
Police said the man doesn't appear to work for the hospital, and they'd like to speak with him in connection with the case.
The cafeteria had to be closed after the mercury was found, but police said there was never a major health risk.
Anyone with information is asked to call Albany detectives at 462-8039.
