TROY, N.Y. -- Part of Campbell Avenue in Troy is shut down again after repairs were made to the street last month exposed even more problems.

City officials said that soil conditions have deteriorated since repairs were made last month following a water main break.

The road was shut down for two weeks for repairs, but it has again been declared unsafe for heavy traffic.

Campbell Avenue is closed between Donegal and Sherman avenues. Construction to permanently fix the road will take at least three months.

Businesses in the immediate area will remain open.
