Driver involved in fatal pedestrian accident has been ticketed

ALBANY, N.Y. -- The driver police say is responsible for a fatal accident on Central Avenue last Thursday has been ticketed.
Corine Edwards, 68, was ticked for failure to yield the right of way to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
Police say Katherine Parker, 28, was hit by Edwards while trying to cross the street. Parker later died of her injuries.
Edwards was not hurt.
