ALBANY, N.Y. -- Many of you who will be enjoying the day off this Presidents Day can also enjoy a day free of parking meter fees.

The City of Albany has announced a parking meter holiday for Presidents Day.

All multi-space meters downtown will be programmed to remind drivers that parking is free. Single space meters are also free.

Parking in the City is free on a number of other holidays throughout the year.
