NORTHEAST UNITED STATES -- Amtrak service along the Northeast Corridor between New York City and Boston is still limited following last Friday's snowstorm, but expanded service will be offered Monday.

Crews spent the entire weekend working to clear snow, clean up from trees that fell, and make necessary repairs as some areas of New England received over three feet of snow in some places.

Empire Service between Penn Station and Albany-Rensselaer is expected to operate on Monday without any issue. Passengers who decided not to travel over the weekend as a result of the weather can receive a refund or a voucher for future travel.
