QUEENSBURY, N.Y. -- It may not officially open until the fall semester, but today we're going to get a sneak peek of the new dorms at the campus of SUNY Adirondack.

A groundbreaking for the $25 million, 148,000 square foot dorm building in Queensbury was held last spring.

Administrators hope the dorms will help them attract students from outside of the North Country region, which they say have seen the number of high school graduates decline in recent years.

According to the school's website, more than 96 percent of students come from Saratoga, Warren, and Washington counties.

The new building is expected to house 400 students when it opens its doors in August.
