WATERVLIET, N.Y. -- Most cities we spoke to say that they're ready for the storm. Watervliet's General Manager, Mark Gleason, says for the past two days, DPW crews have been getting plows ready and loading all the trucks with salt.

Gleason said, "Sometime around five or six o'clock on Friday night we anticipate the brunt of the storm coming. We will start plowing at that point to about 11 or 12. At that point, we will need to give our operators a break. They obviously can't plow for 24 hours."

Gleason says they will clear out all of the parking lots on Saturday, so city residents have a place to park while they clean the streets.
