ALBANY, N.Y. -- Hundreds of anti-fracking advocates will gather at the State Capital to rally against the natural gas drilling process.
Health and environmental organizations from across the state are calling on Governor Andrew Cuomo to allow public participation in the health review process and a full health study before making his final decision on fracking.
Currently, the state is conducting a private health study, in which the Department of Health has released very little information.
Actor Mark Ruffalo and Arun Ghandi, the grandson of Mahatma Ghandi, will be in attendance today. The rally kicks off at noon.
