SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- Saratoga Springs boys' varsity basketball coach Jack Brock has been placed on temporary leave for what the district called "using inappropriate language." The district says that's a violation of the school handbook.

The suspension does not impact Brock's job as a physical education teacher at Geyser Road Elementary School.

The district's superintendent released a statement saying, “This is an unfortunate situation. We hold all of our employees and students to high standards of behavior, and they are held accountable when they fail to meet those standards.”
