DALE COUNTY, AL -- A standoff continues between SWAT teams and an Alabama man who is believed to have shot a bus driver before fleeing with a six-year-old child.
Authorities confirm that one adult male was shot and the suspect is not in custody. They say the shooting happened on a school bus Tuesday around 3:30 p.m.
Multiple TV stations in the area are reporting the bus driver died of his wounds.
