Any parent would be excited to watch their child compete for a spot in the Superbowl. But one Southern Tier family will be getting a double dose of pride this weekend. Endicott natives Arthur and Chandler Jones will be on opposite sidelines in the AFC Championship game this Sunday. Our Melissa Kakareka tells us who their family members are rooting for.

ENDICOTT, N.Y. -- Camille and Arthur Jones know that one of their sons will be playing in the Superbowl on February 3rd. But they don't know which one.

The family's youngest son, Chandler, plays for the New England Patriots while older brother, Arthur, plays for the Baltimore Ravens.

Chandler and Arthur will compete head to head in Sunday's AFC Championship game.

"I think Arthur's trying to scare Chandler, telling him to take it easy. Chandler says, 'no, I'm not gonna miss this opportunity for the whole world,'" said Chandler and Arthur's father, Arthur Jones Jr.

But family members are leaving the competition to the boys. They say they aren't picking sides.

"They've really been asking us, 'who you going for? who you going for?' That's what they want to know. I tell one, your Patriots are my favorite. Then the I tell the other one, the Ravens, oh they are my favorite," said Arthur Jones Jr.

Instead, they will be supporting both sons in the stands Sunday. They even have outfits picked out so that both of their children know how proud they are.

"We've been getting our gear together for the big game: our Ravens hat, Patriots earrings, Ravens-Patriots sweatshirts. We're trying to make sure most of the colors are both of them or neutral, so they know we are rooting for the boys and not the teams," said Chandler and Arthur's mother, Camille Jones.

While they aren't making any predictions, both parents say they are looking forward to the game.

"Each play has one of my sons on the defense so it will be very exciting for me to hear both my son's names," said Camille Jones.

What they do know is that they'll be celebrating no matter which team wins on Sunday.

Both Jones brothers played at Union-Endicott High School and Syracuse University.
