NYS ranked 3rd for education policy and performance
NEW YORK -- A new report ranks New York State third in the country when it comes to educational policy and performance.
Education Week released its annual state report cards for the year.
In general, New York earned a B+. New York follows Massachusetts which ranked second, and Maryland which ranked first. South Dakota came in last, earning a D+. Not one state received an A.
The nation as a whole got a C.
