NISKAYUNA, N.Y. -- A boil water advisory is issued for the Town of Niskayuna following a water main break. It happened Thursday night at the intersection of Rosendale and Mohawk roads.

Water has since been restored to the majority of people in Niskayuna, however the boil water advisory is in effect until further notice.

The Schenectady County Department of Environmental Health says the water should be boiled for at least three minutes before being used.
