The game really brought everyone out in support of the teens. Hundreds of people wearing both Shaker Blue and Shen Green came to the ARC. Our Erin Vannella has more.

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. -- Siena hosted a basketball fundraiser to support Chris Stewart and Deanna Rivers' families. The two teens were tragically killed in a car crash last month.

The Shen and Shaker boys’ and girls' basketball games were moved to Siena College to accommodate larger crowds. All money from ticket sales benefited the Christopher Stewart and Deanna Rivers Memorial Scholarship Funds.

Among the several thousand people in the crowd were the crash's two survivors, Shen student Matthew Hardy and Shaker student Bailey Wind.

Still recovering from her injuries, Wind says seeing these two communities come together has provided her inspiration.

"I just can't believe it because Shen and Shaker have always been really big rivals against each other and I just appreciate it. It's been great with all of the support and everything, but obviously, I would trade it all to get Chris and Deanna back," Wind said.

They also sold t-shirts at the game to raise money.

Proceeds from the night totaled more than $22,000.
