WOODSTOCK, N.Y. -- Christmas Eve is here, and in Woodstock, that means one thing: Santa's arrival. The almost 80 year tradition will take place at the Village Green, where hundreds will gather to see how Santa will make his grand entrance.

Every year it's something different. Last year he arrived on a rocket car. After his arrival, Santa will hand out stockings and other holiday treats to the children. Last year, more than 1,200 stockings were handed out!

Santa is scheduled to arrive just after 5 p.m.
