LATHAM, N.Y. -- Spare Time Lanes in Latham hosted the Center for Disability Services' first ever bowl-a-thon.

Over 100 bowlers came out to the event Sunday, which was sponsored by Southwest Airlines.

Various prizes were awarded at the event, including prizes for highest and lowest score. There was also a prize for the team which raised the most money.

“And the money raised will help us to continue to provide the necessary programs and services for individuals with disabilities of all ages throughout our community,” said Anne Schneidercostigan, spokesperson for the Center for Disability Services.

Community members, students and staff all participated to raise money for the cause.
