CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. -- Since the vigil for Stewart and Rivers on Tuesday, a number of Capital Region restaurants, stores, businesses and community members have made donations to honor the loss and support the families.

DeCresente Beverage, Price Chopper, First Response, a limousine service and Clifton Park restaurants like Carrabba's are only a few names on the long list

“I told them, stop cooking, don't worry about cooking, we'll take care of it. We feed 400 people every single night, so it's not a big deal for us to cook for that amount of people and we'll take that off there and drop off all the food for them and have volunteers serving it all and they'll be all set,” said Casey Flemming, carrabba’s Italian Grill Manager.

The Rivers family asks that remembrances be made to the Deanna Marie Rivers Memorial Scholarship.

In lieu of flowers, the Stewart family asks donations be made to St. Coleman's Autistic Program.
