FISHKILL, N.Y. -- State Police believe they have identified the body of a man found by the Hudson River in Fishkill.

Police say the man has been tentatively identified as Benjamin Parsons, 31, of Poughkeepsie. They say Parsons was reported missing from the Beacon Community Residence on October 29th.

Police say staff members from the residence contacted them after hearing about the discovery of the remains and believed Parsons matched the description.

An investigation into his death is still ongoing.
