FORT ANN, N.Y. -- If you're driving in Fort Ann for the next two weeks, you'll want to avoid the section of Route 4 in Comstock. The road will be closed between Kelsey Pond Lane and Route 22 today through December 14th.

The closure is so crews can remove additional rock from the area that was involved in last month's rock slide. The rock slide sent 2,000 tons of rock onto the road.

Detours will be posted, directing traffic onto Routes 22, 40, and 149.

The work will continue after December 14th, but the road will be re-opened to one lane of alternating traffic at that point.
