Big news for a UAlbany Great Danes and a former Section II standout.

Maple Hill star Katie Roth has been named the America East Rookie of the Week. The red shirt freshman averaged 9.5 points and 5.5 points in Hartford's two wins. She knocked down a career high 17 to open to week against UMass.

UAlbany sophomore Megan Craig has been named the America East Player of the Year for the first time in her career.

The 6'8'' center averaged nearly 17 points in two games last week. She had 12 points and three rebounds in a loss to Michigan State and then she had a career high 27 in the win over Dartmouth on Saturday. Craig also added nine rebounds agains the Big Green. The Great Danes are at home Wednesday.
