Jets offense comes alive in St. Louis

By: Web Staff

ST. LOUIS, LA -- After more than a month of struggles, The New York Jets have finally put a win up on the board. The Jets went into St. Louis on Sunday with a dismal 3-6 record, which was just bad enough to earn them last place in the AFC East.

New York was able to not only put up some points but limit St. Louis's offense. Runningback Bilal Powell had two rushing touchdowns despite Sanchez only throwing for 178 yard and one touchdown.

New York defense helped earn the win down south by holding the Rams to just two touchdowns for 13 points.

The Jets climb themselves out of a hole and are now tied with the Bills and Dolphins for second place in the AFC East. They all share a 4-6 record while the New England Patriots top the standings at 7-3.

New York has a quick turnaround this week as they get set to host the Patriots on Thanksgiving at 8:20pm.
