Police say 23-year-old Matthew Reilly hit a concrete pillar at the Latham Circle Mall garage just after 7 p.m. Friday. He was taken to Albany Med, where he later died.

Reilly was the only person in the car at the time of the crash, according to police.

No word yet on a cause.
