SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- It's that time of year when the Polar Express rides again. Every year, the Saratoga and North Creek Railway follows the storyline of the classic Christmas tale, "The Polar Express".

Kids are able to ride the train in their pajamas, sing songs, and meet Santa Claus at the end of their journey. The festive ride boasted over 36,000 passengers last year, and one conductor said this year, they are hoping to bring even more passengers on board.

"We're already sold out for a number of our 5:30 departures for the first part of the season. There's still plenty of tickets left, but we have a huge turn out, so far we're looking at doing even better numbers. We're looking at doing about 40,000 this year," explained Steve Conklin, Polar Express Conductor.

The Polar Express departs from the Saratoga Station starting on November 16, and runs through January 6. For more information on Polar Express times and ticket prices, visit www.sncrr.com.
