CAPITAL REGION -- The recount will begin next week in the 46th Senate District race between representative George Amedore and challenger Cecilia Tkaczyk. There are about 150 votes separating the two candidates.

The recount will begin on Tuesday, and officials hope to finish by the end of the week. They plan to start counting the more than 9,000 absentee ballots beginning on November 18, and both sides are set to appear in court on November 28.
