ALBANY, N.Y. -- For the first time in five years, the Saint Rose women's soccer team were sweating out the annual selection show. That's because the defending D2 National Champs were unable to win the Northeast 10 title this year.

They lost in the semifinals to Southern New Hampshire but ended the season with a 16-2-2 record. The Golden Knights were still confident about getting a bid back to the big dance.

They'll be on the road for round one. Saint Rose is a three seed and will take on Wilmington at American International College on Friday.

The Golden Knights are in the dance for the 10th time in 11 years.
