ALBANY, N.Y. -- A 19-year-old man is the latest person arrested as part of the Albany Police Department's crackdown on underage drinking.
Police were called to a home on State Street just after 1 a.m. Friday for a report of a loud party. Police say when officers arrived, they found about 50 people creating a disruption and playing music loud enough to be hear several houses away. Police also say they saw multiple people drinking alcohol who were underage.
Police arrested the host, Jacob Alexander, who is a student at UAlbany, and charged him with unlawfully dealing with a minor. He was also ticketed under the city noise ordinance.
Police say they've arrested more than 25 people since the end of August as part of the underage drinking crackdown.
