KINGSTON, N.Y. -- Kingston police arrested an underground rapper known in the Ulster and Dutchess counties area after they say they found him with a large amount of cocaine.
Police say they have been conducting surveillance for weeks now at the Fairview Gardens apartment complex. A search warrant was executed on Tuesday and Cordal Johnson, whose rapper name is "Ghetto Po," was arrested by Kingston Police. They say Johnson was trying to leave when officers arrived and they stopped him with enough cocaine on him to charge him with a felony.
Police say they found even more inside his apartment.
