LIBERTY, N.Y. -- A Liberty man is arrested after police said they found drugs and illegal weapons in his apartment. According to police, they searched the apartment of Ramon Gilliam, 37, on North Main Street on Friday.

Police said the search was part of an investigation into drug sales at the apartment. According to police, they recovered cash, cocaine, packaging materials, scales, marijuana, and an illegally possessed, loaded shotgun with over 25 shotgun shells.

Gilliam faces numerous charges, including criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon, and unlawful possession of marijuana.
