SARATOGA RACE COURSE -- The Crown Jewel of summer around the Capital Region is well into day one. The track course is a tradition for many people and there are many familiar vendors. But there are some new faces and new vendors this year too.

Some new features include a new craft beer garden, Siro's and Bettie's Cakes.

NYRA's Vice President of Hospitality says it is nice to see something new at the track that you go to everyday.

"It is a huge boost for the race course, but it also a huge boost for the local restaurants and the locals. These people have businesses here. So it is great if you live in Saratoga and you come to the race track. It is nice you can go and have a cupcake if you weren't at the track,” said Stephen Travers.

NYRA will once again offer $3 domestic draft beers and $4 draft imports at select locations throughout Saratoga Race Course.
