FULTON COUNTY -- A young man who crashed his car and killed his passenger will be sentenced Friday in Fulton County Court.

Police said Justin VanNostrand, 19, was driving more than 100-miles and hour in December 2011 when he approached the intersection of Route 29 and Steele Avenue Extension in Johnstown.

That's where he crashed into an embankment, hit a parked truck, and landed on top of a house. His passenger, Christopher Insogna, 19, was killed and Kelly Insogna, 17, was severely injured.

VanNostrand pleaded guilty last month to manslaughter and reckless endangerment. He faces up to to seven years in prison.
