KINGSTON, N.Y. -- A Kingston man is caught pawning off jewelry, according to police who said a business owner called them when Joseph Istvan, 36, came into their store to sell the items.

He faces burglary, larceny and criminal possession of stolen property charges. He was taken to the Ulster County Jail in leiu of bail. Police said the jewelry has been recovered.
