Subcontractor accused of falsely reporting armed man in parking lot
QUEENSBURY, N.Y. -- A subcontractor was arrested Tuesday on a misdemeanor charge of falsely reporting an incident at the CR Bard manufacturing plant in Queensbury.

Members of the Warren County Sheriff's Office responded to CR Bard around 2 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a man displaying a handgun in a threatening manner to a subcontractor who performs janitorial services at the plant. This was reported to have happened in the parking lot.

After an extensive search of the area, the man who reported the incident was reinterviewed and the sheriff's office determined he made up the story.

Richard Resseque, 43, of Saratoga Springs was charged with third-degree falsely reporting an incident. He was released on an appearance ticket.
