UNITED STATES -- The latest Lundberg Survey shows another big drop in gas prices, and some analysts think gas could even be closer to $3 by the fall. The survey puts the national average at $3.48 per gallon.

Lundberg says that's a 15 cent drop over the last two weeks, and it's nearly 50 cents down from the highest average recorded this year.

They say economic trouble in Europe and slow growth in the United States is driving down oil and gas prices. Demand has also decreased internationally and here at home due to the higher prices.
