WATERFORD, N.Y. -- Waterford Police say a man is dead after his ATV hit a tree. Officers got a call around 7:30 p.m. Thursday about the crash near Riberdy Road.

They found Peter Casey, 32, of Troy had died on impact during the crash. Police say speed was a factor, and Casey was not wearing a helmet.
