WARREN COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Bolton man is dead after being hit by a car on Lake Shore Drive.

Officials say Benjamin Green, 20, of Lake George, was driving southbound in a 1999 Taurus when he hit Douglas Norton, 35, just south of the Apperson Lane intersection. Officials say Norton was walking on the shoulder of the highway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no word yet on the cause of the crash.
