WOODBOURNE, N.Y. -- Another Catskill resort goes up in flames, and authorities in Sullivan County are calling it highly suspicious. The former Aladdin Hotel in Woodbourne caught fire on Friday afternoon.

The case has been turned over to the Fallsburg Police Department to be further investigated for arson. The hotel on Habrouck Drive was unoccupied at the time of the fire.

Officials condemned the building one year ago. All power to the building had been turned off.

The former Catskill resort is the latest one to go up in flames. In April, the landmark Tammarack Lodge in Ellenville burned down. A week after that, another fire destroyed the Grandview Palace Condominiums in Liberty, which was formerly known as the Browns Hotel.
