ALTAMONT, N.Y. -- It's now time to honor our kids of the week. This week we salute 11-year-old Alexis Wightman, 9-year-old Emilia Matulewicz and 7-year-old Ahren Smith from Altamont.

Last month, the trio held a lemonade stand during the annual village wide garage sale in Altamont. In all, they raised nearly $150 which they donated to the local food bank. All three kids were offered $10 each out of the money from the garage sale, and they refused it. They wanted that money to go to the food bank.
